Breeding/Foaling update

In 20009 we bred only one mare due to the slow economy. This was Hiltje’s foal and it was born a few weeks ago. Unfortunately the foal was premature and it passed away before ever being able to nurse. That was very sad for us.

This year we are looking to breed three mares, but two will be via frozen semen which is very difficult to accomplish. Those two mares (Cori and Dahlia) are at Va Tech now for insemination. Tara, my maiden mare, is another I am hoping to breed. I still have not selected a stallion. I will worry more about Tara after the other two are back from Tech.

I need to update the main website to reflect the changes. I’ll put that on my list of to do’s!
